Community Centre 25th Anniversary Fun Day
2001/2002 was the 25th anniversary of the Community Centre. To celebrate the
occasion, a Community Fun Day was held on Saturday, 1st December 2001.
The day was strongly supported by the local groups that use the community
centre, and there was a wide variety of stalls, demonstrations by local groups,
balloons, games - a fun time for all
the family. Thank you to all who took part and supported this day.
All proceeds were for support of the Thames Valley Air Ambulance. The local
group stalls raised over £195, and the Air Ambulance stall raised an additional
£35.
